    If it works for you do it! I take krispie treat bars that are 90 calories and cut them into about 40 tiny pieces. Takes a bit longer to eat and I feel like I ate more. I could eat bar in 3-4 bites. This tricks me into thinking I’m getting more. Sounds nuts but works for me.

    But if this works for you, I also think you should keep doing it. Brains are weird. Sometimes it’s easier to just go with them rather than try to make sense of the shit they do.

  3. As a sever when I drink fountain soda I’ll pour 85% diet and 15% regular coke to have a similar effect

  4. I’ve just started drinking strong sparkling water, it gives the same effect with food.

    I’ve been drinking Coke Zero for years now. Tried to have a full sugar Coke last week and it tasted disgusting.

  6. You are indeed insane for this. The gaslighting and getting that feeling alone is already insane, but then you also ruin the carbonation and crispiness of the drink by doing this!
