During the colder months I often make a warm mug of golden milk; as a caffeine free comforting evening beverage. The golden oats recipe is from the YouTube channel – Cooking for Peanuts. It has many of the same ingredients and the warm spicy flavors as a warm mug of golden milk.
The recipe calls for grating lots of apples into the oats. This yields a homginized apple porridge mixture with natural sweetness and added fiber.
It is beautiful to look at, it is delicious, and it smells so good; I now want to hunt down a candle that captures that same fruity spicy fragrance.
