I got two bags of oranges from Trader Joe's that smelled absolutely divine. Been utilizing them to the best of my abilities. One bag, I made an old fashioned candy using the orange peels. I really wanted something nice and chewy but didn't end up bitter from the pith. Double boiling and an overnight soak in the simple syrup did the job. A more natural snack I don't feel terrible giving my kids.

If you wanna try a cool variation, candy some meyer lemon peels! Little more difficult to work with but they’re like a mother natures sourpatch kids! Looks like you did a great job on em! Got any more pics?
