Just wanted to share my favorite recent recipe that’s both tasty, filling, and relatively low calorie. It’s pretty decent on both protein and fiber.

  • Is it the most healthy? No, I’m sure it has like 5 vitamins. I am sure I could swap out the greens for something healthier.
  • Is it the lowest possible calories it could be? No, I could probably use lower fat/lower calorie options for the dressing.
  • Is it easy? Yes! It’s what I’ve been using lately to keep full and also I look forward to eating it. Been my thing for about a month now.
  • Is it tasty? I think so!

It’s what is helping keep me consistent and on track towards my goal weight, so I figured I would share in case it helps anyone else!

  • 1-2 romaine hearts
  • 1 serving of Caesar dressing (I used Wishbone brand)
  • 1 serving of cottage cheese (I use Hood brand)
  • black pepper (optional)

Chop and wash greens. Weight out/measure the servings of all ingredients. Put into a large closable container and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE (probably using up a few calories here!!). And it’s ready to eat! Enjoy!

I know this is barely a recipe, but sometimes those can be the most helpful (in my opinion) because sometimes you just need an easy idea!
