Cheese Tortellini salad with pasted fresh herbs & garlic, parmesan cheese, fresh greens and day lily buds

  1. [OC] – Normally I make this with cherry tomatoes, but since my garden got a late start this year I’ve been making use of day lily buds in a lot of my stir-fry, salads and tacos. They don’t have a lot of flavor, but they have a nice texture and add a pop of color.

    Dressing: fresh oregano, thyme, sage and garlic pasted together with salt and olive oil plus white vinegar.

    Greens: Kale, lettuce and arugula
