
this recipe is what I like to call a happy medium – it’s not absolutely maximized in terms of calories and protein intake, but it is quick to throw together, legitimately has the texture and taste of traditional cake, and definitely still has better and more manageable macros!
to a mug or bowl, add:
– 1 tablespoon of boxed cake mix. I like Pillsberry strawberry.
– 2 tablespoons of self rising flour
– 2 tablespoons of plain nonfat Greek yogurt
– 2 tablespoons of skim milk
– 3 tablespoons of egg whites
– splenda to taste
mix together and microwave! my microwave usually needs 2 to 2 1/2 minutes!
top with whatever you want, I usually opt for a classic Greek yogurt and artificial sweetener combo as the frosting !
