For starters, I don’t track on trips so I really rely on some uber healthy meals for half my calories and the other half is splurgy

And it’s weird, but I believe good hacks are usually so tailored to the person and that’s what makes them good for a particular person .

1) Beans! Box beans, Canned beans with a pull top. In some countries they sell quite small sizes or I stay with a place with a fridge.

I add them to salads , I eat them straight. I get many people will think this is strange but when traveling it’s hard to get FIBER

2) replace my chocolate bar /candy cravings with fancy protein bars****. That are sorta expensive so I don’t buy them when I’m at home and I just pack some with me.

3) I’m a volume eater to the core, so the flavored rice or corn cakes, popcorn . It my favorite end of the day munchies

4) pick one treat meal- maybe giant pastry, maybe cheese tour, maybe 7 hours of metal festival and a lot of beers

The **** mean sometimes my treat is literally a bunch of chocolate, if I’m in Switzerland yes I will be going a bit wild

5) stop forcing myself to eat when not hungry. I think many people will say “well obviously “ but I also am thrifty!
Free giant breakfast? I feel like I should take advantage
Do I even want to eat in the morning? NO!

But bonus of tight economy, many places (in Europe) make you pay , so I don’t ! But still avoid the temptation when it is free.

6) travel days prep!

making those Konjac flat -its not bread but flatbread shape. Great for flying, very filling

but added glucomannan powder for a binder and some more changes like adding herbs!

Also for long travel days, this time I prepped Konjac noodle+ cherry tomato+ olive oil (but not too much otherwise it will be a liquid) and salt

This time I just saved a disposable container from something else and put it in that, so after I ate it I could just recycle the plastic at the airport! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that sooner .

I’m measuring success here, by not wanting to binge, by feeling healthy and satisfied, by enjoying some treats
