    If you wanted to add veggies then some of my favourite add ons for rice are spring onions, mungbean sprouts/soybean sprouts or mixing in cauliflower rice to bulk out the rice. I either toss them in a dry pan and then add in the cooked rice. Or I add them in at the end while the rice is steaming. Since all of them cook very quickly it lets me add in veggies without creating too much fuss or adding in a ton of time cutting/prepping. The added texture is 10/10
