Shrimp fajitas, maybe skip the tortillas, rice, beans, and just stick to the protein and veggie elements.

I would go with shrimp kabob, or a shrimp or chicken fajita without eating it in the tortilla! That way its essentially just meat and veggies, best of luck, don’t stress too much about it

  3. Pozole or the fajitas. I’d just do the fajitas with 1 tortilla, and eat the rest on its own.

I would save 800ish calories for this and order chicken fajitas; no sour cream, cheese, or tortillas. Drink only water.

I’d get what I want (Birria Tacos) since balance is key and then save half of it for later.

But if you’re trying to be strict, I’d get the Shrimp Kabob since it’s lean protein with healthy fat from the guacamole. And I’d still save half for later because restaurant portions tend to be huge.

Chicken or shrimp fajita, onions and peppers, lettuce, pico de gallo, no tortilla, no rice, no refried beans. Don’t forget to account for all of the oil they use in those dishes, I usually add 1 tablespoon of oil to my tracker for any external meals

A single day isn’t going to set you back, I would just enjoy myself

  8. Fajitas are absolutely goated. Just use less guac, sour cream, and cheese if you want to reduce the calories

    As a Mexican:

    Fajitas are your GOAT

    the shrimp kebob

    Pozole

Nothing cripsy, tortillas even the corn ones, especially if they’re home made have cals.

  10. I’d go for the chicken fajitas and just ask them to give me only the veggies and chicken. I love fajita veggies so much.

I usually do a taco salad and just don’t eat the shell. So it’s just veggies and whatever meat. Shrimp or chicken usually

Shrimp kabob like everyone else said. It’s the only thing that makes sense. I’d opt for extra veg if you can and hold the guacamole. Avocados are pretty caloric dense. But they’re really good for you so weigh your options as you would

  13. Shrimp kabob or fajita. I’m gonna go against the grain here and say that I never skip rice or beans. They keep me full and I love them. Lost all my weight while still eating rice almost every day.

  14. No one asked, but my opinion is to just enjoy yourself at the restaurant and then eat healthy around it. If i were there i’m ordering the flautas idc about the calories i will eat half and then save the other half for later or eat the whole thing and eat healthy the rest of the day. it’s up to you but you only have one life. ❤️

  15. I’d go for chicken fajitas. Plenty of veggies, they usually use breast, typically it’s one of the lowest cal options when it comes to Mexican food (from what I’ve seen, at least).

Get whatever you want, you’re allowed to have days like that. That’s how you commit to lifelong health, don’t deprive yourself of the occasional Mexican food. Just make sure that you stop when you feel full, don’t over eat.

Honestly, I just usually get what I want and eat half, and bring the other half home to enjoy later

  18. I’d get pozole and tostadas with chicken. Poole is a delicious Mexican soup and tostadas are corn tortilla which is usually fairly low carb and meat and veg on top. Sounds good to me.

  19. Mixed fajitas. I’d eat the beans but not the rice and probably one flour tortilla. Yes to sour cream and guacamole if included. All this and a skinny margaritas. And I’d just record it accurately and enjoy it.
