  1. Congratulations!! I remember when I checked my bmi and it said I was a normal weight instead of overweight for the first time in a long time. I could have cried tears of joy. After years of trying and failing to lose weight who knew I just had to count calories and be consistent with it 😂

I think bmi only becomes inaccurate when you build muscle. I had basically no muscle so all that weight was just fat. Which made the bmi scale accurate. But my bf went from normal weight to overweight on the bmi scale this year, except that weight was mostly just muscle because he’s been heavy lifting in the gym. So it’s accurate if your weight is mostly fat but if you’re building muscle not so much.

  2. Thanks for the motivation. I’m about to move under 30 bmi for the first time in years. I’m looking forward to the day I’m in the healthy range too!
