    It’s not that you wouldn’t lose weight if you ate more than allotted within your budget, you’d just lose weight at a slower rate. I’m on the 2lbs/week plan and go over by 100-200 calories about once a week and have still consistently been losing weight.

  2. If you went over slightly you will still lose weight, just at a slightly slower rate. If you have your target set to lose 2 lb per week, that’s a 1000 calorie deficit, which means that you could have to eat 1000 calories over the calorie target that it gives you in order to maintain your weight instead of lose weight. And you would have to eat >1000 calories over the calorie target that it gives you in order to gain weight.

    And yes with the exact budget you will still lose weight, if you go over budget you won’t lose weight at the rate you want

  4. I’ve been using this app for almost two months and a half now, and I’m down 30+ pounds, I overate every week by almost 500 kcal per week the first month and still lost all the weight
    It’s a pretty extensive deficit so don’t worry about it ! Also you’ll notice with time (and registering lower weights) the daily calories decrease which helps plenty
