Oh wow! Please update once you try them. I have not tried these, but I tried this brand’s plant based tuna pouch and it was not so great. But my issue with it was more texture than flavor so the crab cakes may not have the same problem!

Yeah Ive had them a couple of times, the taste is mediocre, not great but not terrible. If you’re only eating plant based its a fine choice. just a heads up: im not that picky, so something fine for me could be awful for you.

I love good catch!! I use these sometimes to make the filling for stuffed mushrooms 😊

Update for anyone interested. I bought them and am cooking them for dinner tonight. I’m using them as stuffing for mushrooms mentioned by u/Bloody_Love (thanks again). I chopped up the mushroom stems and baked them with the crab cakes, then put the crab cakes in a bowl and mushed them up with the mushroom stems, added some Old Bay and stuffed the mushrooms and baked.
I tasted one of the crab cakes prior to mushing them up and the texture seemed fine to me, and the flavor is very good. I may eat the rest in patty form. I’ll definitely be buying again.
