I eat most of my calories for lunch, whis is usually around 3 pm. I love digging in to a real meal. I have a very small breakfast with a cappuccino and a snack before bed. If I’m really hungry I’ll eat more but most days I’m fine.

  2. Yes. I eat my 150 calorie sandwich and maybe a protein bar or a pack of crackers all before 6. The majority of my calories are from 6-8. It’s just more satisfying 😊

  3. Yup. I have a small meal anywhere between 12-3. Then a much larger meal for dinner. And usually a snack after.

    1000%

I find if I have a super carb loaded lunch I get an immediate energy slump. So typically I keep it pretty protein and fruit/veg heavy for the day, and in the evening I have my love affair with carbs. I’m also someone that typically isn’t super hungry during the day and then all I want is snacks after 7 pm. This works for me. To each their own.

I literally need to save 85% for an evening meal (saving 200 calories for my indulgent morning latte lol) so that I don’t wake up at 3-4AM from my stomach growling. Not an issue to do during the work week when I’m busy anyway and the weekends provide more calories since I’ve divvied up my weekly allowance to allow for more on sat-sun

I am on an eat once a day basis most days at this point, so I can eat whatever I want and still lose weight. I still like to have my coffee in the mornings that is quite a few calories, but my job is physically demanding so I usually have it burnt off by midday and it curbs my appetite so I don’t usually want to eat until later in the day. Around 4-5 is when I usually start to feel a little hungry.

I starve during the day so I can have my 450 calorie chocolate bar at the end of the day. But it’s what I look forward to and helps me get through

  8. Yup! I aim for 2 meals a day only! A 400-600 cal lunch and a 600-800 cal dinner!

  9. Emergency-Economy654 on

Yup! I don’t like breakfast. I eat a light lunch usually veggies, dip, and hard boiled eggs. Then go HAM at dinner.

  10. Maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, but I tend to do this as well and think of it as a bad habit. It’s better to eat small portions often than load up “once per day”. Better for the mental side of weight loss.

  11. Celestial__Bear on

Yeah! I usually have a big lunch and then I’m good for the whole day.

  12. I am doing this now! Honestly it’s so much easier than making multiple small meals. I don’t even really get hungry until later in the day anyway

This is the only way 1200 works for me🤷‍♀️ 200-300 calories for breakfast, sometimes around 150 for a snack, and the rest goes to dinner

  14. Harder_than_calculus on

🙋🏻‍♀️ — I usually skip breakfast and have a light lunch

Absolutely, I have an obsession with tteokbokki, and rn it’s my favorite food so I feel like I’m craving it daily and I looove putting sausage and cheese and all the yummy add ons, at the end of the day it’s a lot of calories but sometimes I just gotta eat it!!

Yesss, 350 for lunch and all the rest 850 is fun, filling dinner, second plates and everything good 🥰

  17. Forgotmyusername8910 on

I save mine for snacks. 🤷‍♀️

I eat super healthy and low cal mini meals And then have all my snacks after dinner.

It’s not ideal. But I can’t reprogram myself out of this habit, so I’ve decided to just go with it.

Around once a week I save up and have a meal I have been craving. Today was lamb shank ragout with pasta. It was just over 600 calories but I could not finish the serve, I have been staying away from carbs and starch so they fill me up fast when I do have them.

  19. FunDependent9177 on

Yes I eat lower calories during the week so I can eat bigger on the weekends.

Sometimes, yeah. I mean I do more calories than this, I’m more in this sub for ideas, but yeah I’ll have a 700 calorie supper every now and then of pasta with sauce and crumbled up tofu that has been fried in soy sauce. Worth it. I just go low calorie during the day with protein shakes and hard boiled eggs for breakfast and then a medium lunch, haha.

  21. Yes. I think my dinner is usually around 700 calories and between 5 and 7pm. xD I prefer to eat a really big meal where I feel FULL afterwards. And I don’t mind eating very light for the remaining hours of the day.

  22. ClassroomLow936 on

Yup! Also, when I want to eat something calorific like yesterday, I just had a 150-calorie-breakfast so that I could eat a donut for dessert😇

  23. Cocorico111 on

Yes, but for me it is breakfast and lunch. I’m usually not hungry at night.

  24. babybellllll on

i do so often! i did last night so i could have dinner with a friend, and will be again saturday and sunday for the same reasons lol

  25. Me too, I’m currently doing 1800 cals a day and I always have like 800 or 900 for dinner alone 🤣

  26. bigbowlofregret on

Yes, if it’s something I really was craving. I haven’t done OMAD because I get too hungry during the day, but if I know I’ll be having something worth half my days cals I will eat light for breakfast and lunch.

  27. Honestly, a variation of this is the only thing that’s been working for me lately. I usually eat a somewhat tiny breakfast, then have a OWYN shake for lunch, and then have a large-ish dinner. I don’t super love lunch foods anyway, so it’s not too hard. Days when I deviate from this, I find my weight has gone up the next day.
