Soak 1 cup of mung beans in water overnight. It will soak up a lot of water so be sure to put in a good amount. Once it is soaked, drain and rinse it and then blend with 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of black salt, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, and whatever else you want to put in it (I also added some onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper). Put it in a pan and cook and season how you would normally season eggs.
To make steaks:
Rub some oil on 1 portobello and season with steak seasoning (or whatever seasoning you like). cook on medium, about 3 minutes on each side.Ā

It’s my Friday and this is definitely going to be my breakfast over the weekend. Don’t know why I never think to incorporate mushrooms into breakfast.

I bet throwing in some nutritional yeast would be a perfect addition.
