Q fo anyone familiar with Jamaican red pea soup. What low cal alternative is there for the dumplings? I donāt eat meat so thatās omitted but I wanna have a low cal version of a dumpling – any ideas of how I can make this dream come true lol?

Yummmy we call it bouillon in the some islands when I order I ask them to hold the dumplings and ground provisions š Iāve seen pumpkin in there
I’m made spinners with cauliflower and egg “successfully”, you do get that little chewy texture but I had to play around with it. Pulse the florets, cook till soft, stain and squeeze out all liquid, add egg(s), a little tapicoa/coconut flour (but you can omit) and handle like dough
I mean dumplings wouldnāt be too calorie dense if itās just like how my grandma makes hers with all purpose flour
Potatoes wouldnāt be exactly the same but I could still see them working as a different carb option?
