I haven’t tried that, but it sounds delightful. I would be tempted to try an old comte.

Edit to add: Vodka salad for all those who love cheese! 😉

  2. Sometimes the olives come stuffed with bleu cheese instead of a pimento

That might overwhelm the Gruyère here though

Yum! I usually go for Pecorino, Parmigiano or Manchego, but excited to try Gruyere…

having a vodka olive salad right now… kinda wishing I had cheese in it now…

Have never considered having cheese with our vodka olive salads.

Guess I’ll be buying extra cheese for the weekend.

Anyone have a suggestion for a cheese to go with tequila lime salads? (It’s my Mom’s 73rd b-day on Sunday. She requested steak & cheesecake. I’m making a key lime topping for her. Margaritas are her standard.)

  6. Ever since I was forced into drinking clamatos in Canada this shit looks so rank. I’d much rather have a vodka based cocktail with a side dish of olives and cheese and cured meats.

  7. Add some tomato juice and cayanne pepper and pickle juice and you’ve got the start of a great ~~wisconsin breakfast~~ bloody mary.
