I’ve made this before and add pastina (tiny star shaped pasta). Total comfort food when you have a sore tooth or something and need to eat soft food.

I was just looking for an affordable broth like this to sip on! Thanks op!

It so doesn’t taste like cheese though. I tried to get on cheeseboard with it for ages but had to face the truth it doesn’t. And when it’s called nooch it gives me second hand embarrassment 😂😂😂🫶

Can someone cite their claim that nutritional yeast is an ancient Egyptian thing? I can’t find anything about it. Seems plausible for any beer producing culture, though, I’d buy it if there’s evidence to substantiate it, and plus it would be cool to use their methods to make my own nooch from water kefir silt or something.

Just made this, it was delicious and satisfying. I used 21 seasoning, veggie broth, lots of black pepper etc.

To make: dissolve small amount of [bouillon](https://www.amazon.com/Better-Than-Bouillon-Vegetarian-Chicken/dp/B00119RNR2) into hot water and add as much [nutritional yeast](https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Non-fortified-Nutritional-Protein-Beta-glucans/dp/B00PJ3IPMI) as you want. Usually I add 1 Tbsp, but sometimes 2. I find this broth very comforting when I’m feeling sick.
Optional additions: scallions, carrots & peas, tofu, noodles, sliced mushrooms
