Seems like its high in protein and low in calories. I want to make it a daily snack but I am not sure if it will be unhealthy for someone with a higher than normal cholesterol and blood pressure. I live in the Netherlands so jerky is not a very common snack here. Actually I have never tried it but want to make it a part of my daily snacks for the protein and calorie value.

I understand there might be differences in brand. Ill try to get what I can get my hands on since it doesnt seem like the local supermarkets carry it.

EDIT: Ill mention two examples

1.Indiana jerky [https://myamericanmarket.com/us/indiana-turkey-jerky](https://myamericanmarket.com/us/indiana-turkey-jerky)

2.Meat makers [https://themeatmakers.com/products/turkey-jerky-honey-garlic-40g](https://themeatmakers.com/products/turkey-jerky-honey-garlic-40g)

2 seems to be lower than 1 in salt content

  1. To my knowledge, probably the biggest concern with jerky is the high sodium content, and people with high blood pressure are usually told to lower their sodium intake

  2. Can you post the list of ingredients and nutrition information for the specific brand that you’re interested in?

  3. I eat beef jerky daily, but my blood pressure is naturally very low so I don’t really concern myself with sodium intake. I only eat one “american serving” which is 28g.
