I am completely addicted to these Korean style marinated eggs as a snack. They are sooo good! For those who eat these, how many calories do you attribute to them?
(For reference, in my marinade I put sesame seeds, red pepper paste, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, maple syrup and a little bit of rice vinegar)- but itβs hard to count because the eggs just absorb a little bit of the marinade.

Omg. So. Good! Gimme !!!
Recipe please!!
I would say it’s about 85-90 calories. 75 for the egg and 10-15 for the ingredients–the only ones with calories would be the red pepper paste and the maple syrup, the rest is fairly negligible.
I’ve been wanting to make these for ages! I think you’ve inspired me to make some tomorrow
If I was worried about it, I’d weigh the marinade and figure calories of the whole, then once I removed the eggs after soaking, weigh what’s left, divide the calories for the whole by how many grams was in the initial batch, then multiply that by now many grams less it is then by how many eggs you had in there. But I suspect whoever said 10-15 is probably pretty close lol
Really depends on how much of the marinade you eat with it. I personally eat mayak eggs with rice. So I tend to spoon a decent amount of the marinade on top.
Just the egg though, probably doesnβt absorb a ton of the marinade. So 100 cals or less for just the egg.
