    But for real where did you get this “heart of palm” pasta? Never heard of it before!

    I tried the Palmini hearts of palm today. Not bad, a little crunchy. I just heated them in my sauce. I’m going to see how the texture is after boiling them next time to see if they soften up a bit. I will still use them either way though, 25 calories per serving!

  3. I love palmini! Absolute game changer. Some garlic fried prawns or chicken with a bit of tomato or basil pesto and either the linguini or angel hair palmini is a super quick, easy and low cal (provided you don’t go overboard on the pesto) meal. You do need to boil the pasta though for a good 15 or so minutes to get a nice al dente texture.

    The palmini lasagne sheets are also a great substitute – I’ve put everyone I know onto them and even people who aren’t trying to lose weight or necessarily looking for a low cal alternative think they are super tasty.
