Pics 1 through 5: Hosted a Father’s Day BBQ. Had the fam over to go swim and eat and it was lovely, I smoked some meat and we all really enjoyed.
I did a smoked brisket, smoked Spare Ribs with homemade Blackberry BBQ Sauce, my “fancy” baked mac and cheese (turns out I prefer my simple cheddar-based one more!), corn on the cob, homemade rolls, and fudge brownies that we ate with Tillamook Vanilla Ice Cream.
Pic 6: Ribeye with Garlic-Broccoli. 20 minute meal. Cook the steak in some Salted Butter, heat up some frozen broccoli, and add a little olive oil and garlic.
Pic 7: BLT on Wheat Bread. My go-to meal when I’m too exhausted to think for another second. Used some Nature’s Own Bread instead of my homemade Sourdough.. slacking! π
Pic 8: Anotha Ribeye night ~ different sides. Brown Sugar and Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts and Baked Crunchy Sweet Potato Fries. I’m still eating all the carbs and I’ve been so into sweet potatoes these days.
Pic 9: Tomahawk Night! Found a killer deal at Costco, got both of these for under $60 and they were insane. I did a Reverse Sear and they were incredible. I always make my steak Medium-Rare, and my partner’s Medium-Well.
Pic 10: Tonight’s meal! Waiting for him to get home so we can eat together. Just some homemade Chicken Tenders and rice.
Before you get worried about my lack of vegetables, I snack on raw peppers, eat salads, and fresh fruit all day. I’m also a little underweight and feel my best eating a decent amount of meat.
Have a great week. π

Random questionβ¦ for your Fatherβs Day meal, did you boil your corn in milk and butter? Or is it just a mirage for meβ¦ Lol?

Hi friends,
Still cooking dinner most nights. Super stressed and may look for a new job – using this as my coping skill.
Wish I could have a recipe blog instead of a 9 to 5 since this is my real passion. Be warned, this post is very meat/steak heavy since my fiancΓ© is avoiding carb-y stuff. I’m really missing Italian food right now! π
