this might be a huge shot in the dark but does anyone have a low cal idea/recipe for fried shumai? it's like a japanese shrimp (and I think ground pork?) dumpling that looks exactly like this https://www.sukiasian.com/order/main/kitchen-appetizer/fried-shumai-6. Before I started my weight loss journey I used to get them from a local sushi place all the time and while I feel comfortable eating certain sushi in moderation while dieting I haven't been able to justify fitting these into my diet since I have no idea how many calories are in them how much oil is used to fry ect but I've been craving them for weeks. it's basically just shrimp wrapped in wonton wrappers and fried. I know I could air fry them but I don't think steaming them would be the same. I'm more than willing to make them myself. maybe no one here is even familiar with what they are but I'd be so happy if I could figure out a CICO friendly way to make them at home. any help is appreciated especially if you have any tips for making them in the air fryer
also if anyone has any idea to make crab rangoons lower in calories that would also be much appreciated
