Bit of a false start, I made hand pies. Smoked chuck, naan dough, just barely caramelized onions and scmancy pepper jack cheese with a red eye gravy for a dip. I definitely had an Icarus moment.

Had all of the right elements but it failed to launch. Dough was too thin and way too wet. Should not have baked the whole thing and should have opted to pam fry. The filling needs potato and probably cilantro. That said served up as a solid 5 out of 10.
