    Made my wonderful wife steak and a romaine wedge salad.

    Prime NY Strip:
    – Salt, Pepper, smoked paprika
    – Cooked Med Rare

    Mash Potatoes
    – Gold Potatoes
    – Boursin Herb Cheese
    – Butter
    – Milk
    – Bacon drippings (from bacon baked below)
    – salt and pepper

    Mushroom Cream Sauce:
    – Steak pan drippings
    – mushrooms
    – kept garlic and rosemary in pan after basted steak
    – more butter
    – half and half cream
    – 1 tbsp flour
    – Cajun seasoning

    Romaine Wedge Salad:
    – Blue Cheese Dressing
    – Crispy bacon – peppered the bacon, baked in oven at 375F for 13 mins
    – Marinated Cherry Toms: tossed in olive oil, sweet balsamic syrup, Italian seasoning, and salt (chilled in fridge for 1 hour)
    – Pickled Onion – Boiled 1 cup apple cider vinegar and 1 cup sugar. Poured over thin sliced red onion, and chilled in fridge
    – Crushed Parmesan crusted garlic bread – left over Parmesan garlic bread from night before. Crushed the bread in a bag and used it as breaded crouton

    I am a big fan of being served slices of steak that had been cooked whole. Great looking dinner.
