Recipe by Sugar Spun Run (Sam Merritt), I have no affiliation! These were so good and look much higher effort than they actually were to make! A comment on the recipe website says 12 min is the sweet spot, so I started with that to be safe (my oven is still fairly new, about 5 years old), but ended up leaving them in for the full 18 minutes the recipe recommended and found that was the perfect time.
You can def still bake these flat and do more of a thumbprint ganache on top, but I would recommend halving the ganache part of the recipe then. Enjoy!!

Preheat oven to 350 F; grease mini muffin tins. Mix 1 cup melted cooled butter with 1 cup brown sugar and ¾ cup sugar, then stir in 2 eggs plus 1 yolk and 1½ tsp vanilla. Add 2½ cups flour, 2 tsp cornstarch, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp baking powder, and ¾ cup mini chocolate chips. Scoop 1½ Tbsp dough into each cup and bake 18 min; cool 5 min, press centers, then cool. Melt 2 cups semisweet chips with ½ cup cream and 2 Tbsp butter; stir in 1½ tsp vanilla, optional 1 tsp bourbon, and ¼ tsp salt. Fill cups, sprinkle optional sea salt, and set 1-2 hrs.
Those look delicious
