



Poha (Flattened Rice) Recepie
Ingredients:
- Flattened rice (poha) – 1 cup
- Peanuts – 2 tbsp
- Potato – 1 small (diced)
- Onion – 1 small (optional)
- Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Turmeric – ¼ tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1–2 tbsp
- Lemon juice – optional
- Yogurt (curd) – for serving
Steps:
- Rinse poha lightly in water and set aside (don’t soak too long).
- Heat oil, fry peanuts until crunchy and keep aside.
- In same pan, fry diced potatoes until golden.
- Add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Add onion (optional) and sauté.
- Add turmeric and salt.
- Add poha and mix gently, cook 2–3 minutes.
- Top with peanuts and serve with yogurt.
Spiced Buttermilk Recepie:
Ingredients:
- Yogurt – ½ cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Cumin powder – a pinch
- Salt – to taste
Steps:
- Whisk yogurt and water until smooth.
- Add salt and cumin powder.
- Serve chilled. 🍃
