I do this with shredded hash brown potato’s as well. Or left over tater tots work too.

I’ve tried to fry cheesy mash balls before to no success but never thought of throwing some in the waffle iron. certainly going to make this in the very soon

I made some savory pancakes out of leftover cheesy potatoes and green beans. They were fire.
