[I ate] Nutella Stuffed French Toast

Nutella Stuffed French Toast: Honey Berry Pancakes and Café (HBPC) is a contemporary breakfast/lunch restaurant with 13 locations divided across WI, IL, and TX. I've dined there once before and was slightly disappointed by their pancakes, but I wanted to give them another chance with their French Toast. One criticism I have right off the bat is HBPC's menu offers descriptions of their different pancake varieties, but no descriptions are provided for their French Toast, which led me to asking our server more questions than I'd prefer to. There ended up not being a type of French Toast available on the menu that was exactly what, but our server did allow the modifications I requested, which brings us to my Nutella Stuffed French Toast (which should be a regular menu item). I got two large pieces of brioche French Toast dusted with powdered sugar and lathered in and stuffed with sweet Nutella. My taste buds were rejoicing from the combination of chocolate, hazelnut, butter, and hints of eggs. The French Toast was warm, perfectly crispy on the outside, pleasantly chewy, and incredibly thick (I actually struggled cutting it). It was precisely what I was hankering for and really hit the spot! I saved half for dinner at home and enjoyed it even more as chilling it in the fridge did wonders for the texture.
