Pacú is a freshwater fish native to Brazil and is related to piranhas. It was the juiciest tastiest fish I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was served family style with no plates – we scooped out each bite with a fork. An unforgettable experience that I highly recommend.
The restaurant itself was quaintly decorated bodega-style. We were attended to by the owner himself who had an adorable cat named Pancho (“hot dog”) whom he gently scolded for “bothering” guests.
