I only see a few mentions of Eika here, so sharing my experience. A few of them felt a little too hot or too cold, but the majority I found to be flavorful and very enjoyable. I also liked the seafood focus of the menu. Overall, would recommend.

I got the non-alcoholic beverage pairing, which had one sparkling non-alcoholic wine to start, and then various teas. They had a few really good things here; I'm glad I got it

NTD 8800 for meal and 2000 for non-alcoholic pairing

In order (and I apologize to the chefs for the inevitable inaccuracies in the descriptions):

  1. (not on menu) some sort of broth. Almost tasted like pasta water (in a good way)
  2. Uni on a kombu cracker with kombu topping. Tasty
  3. Sushi rice wrapped in bamboo shoot. One topped with lobster+something, one topped with marlin+mustard oil. Nicely vinegared rice, very flavorful.
  4. Eggplant+(frozen) ankimo shavings+koji sauce. This one was icy, unfortunately too cold to taste it very well
  5. White asparagus + Duck jelly + caviar (mixed together after taking this picture). Tasted good, but not that memorable
  6. Cold tea (I think it was just an oolong but don't remember)
  7. Sugar snap pea + amadai soup. Lots of peas, good size piece of fish, tasted good
  8. Fish with two sauces: Fermented tomato+chili, soy sauce infused with nettle? (or some other thorny Taiwanese plant) This was good. First 5 from top clockwise: Halibut, ika, some taiwanese shrimp, albacore, blood clam, then 3 pieces grilled lightly (can't remember the exact ones; one was kinki, i _think_ one was some local sea bream)
  9. Threadfin with fermented tofu sauce and some fruit. Relatively large piece of fish, nice slight sweetness of the sauce.
  10. Fried ball of corn puree with truffle topping + kuromitsu? This tasted like a very nice donut with more flavor (did not get a lot of the truffle flavor, admittedly)
  11. Eel with beef jus and some egg sauce. This was a little too eggy for me. The eel was nice and crispy (although almost burned my mouth), and beef flavor was good, but somewhat drowned out by the egg
  12. Fried ball of stingray (kasube?) with fermented cabbage+chili. I would have preferred a different form than a fried ball bc it masked the taste of the fish. The topping was good
  13. Don't remember what this was. Something cold that felt too cold
  14. Pigeon with sort of peking duck-esque skin. Seemed pretty similar to duck, perfectly cooked, and not that boney (they removed most bones in the flesh it seemed).
  15. Chicken broth rice porridge with lily bulbs. Had never had lily bulbs before, but I liked them. Felt like this could've been a little saltier to bring out the chicken flavor but that's probably my unrefined palette
  16. Ice cream + Roasted ponkan. Squeezed the ponkan over the ice cream. Very good
  17. Melon + a sauce. It was a good melon but otherwise unremarkable
