  1. As an Ohio native who moved out of state (for work, I miss it!), this definitely makes me home sick. Cans of Skyline from Amazon just don’t hit the same. When I’m back in Cincy, this dish is always priority #1 lol

If you don’t like it, that’s fine. You don’t need to. It’s glorious to those who enjoy it.

I recently (within the last two months) had skyline chili for the first time since the last time i had it in the 90s and it was…ok.

I think I was shitfaced when I had it back in college and remembered it tasting better.

  3. This is a dish I will never understand. It tastes like a hotdog topping but there’s no hotdog or onions.

  4. Camp Washington is better than Skyline or Goldstar….and they’re 24 hour, except Sundays.
Edit: I’d still kill to have a Skyline or Goldstar within a hundred miles from me.

I am driving to Cleveland this summer, and I am WAY more excited to stop in Cincy on the way for some five way chili than I am to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I have made Skyline chili from a can a few times, but I am super excited to try the real thing for the first time.

Had a spice packet in the cabinet and made some last night for some two way hotdogs for dinner and lunch! Delicious!

I understand nostalgia foods. I love chili!! I honestly try to eat it every week.
But I certainly understand how unappetizing this dish is to people, because lets be honest, its one of those basic lazy dishes that got popular.
