Hi all!
I grew up in Canada and have been living in Galicia, Spain, for the last few years. The food here has completely changed how I think about what we have access to back home.
The conservas trend is real, and it's great. A few brands are starting to bring it over there. But I keep wondering if there's more to the full Iberian food experience that North Americans would love, the regional producers, the stories, the olive oils, the cured meats, all of it together.
I'd love to know what you think. Have you ever tried proper Iberian food and wished you could get it at home?
I know that people love olive oils and Hams, but what about tinned fish and seafood, etc.?
Slightly intimidating to put an idea out on a public platform for the first time, but here we are. Would genuinely love your honest input, 2.5 minutes if you have them.
