Some pics of a fugazetta I made a couple of months ago.

This is a typical Argentinian (Buenos Aires, Capital Federal) pizza that is filled with a lot of cheese and topped with a lot of onions.

It's sort of like a sandwich, you take a dough, then cheese (homemade cashew cheese), another dough and the onions.

I also added provenzal which is basically chopped garlic, parsley and oil.

  1. YOU ARE KILLING ME WITH THIS PHOTO. In a good way, of course, but I haven’t had time for lunch yet, and this looks incredibly delicious! I’m going to have to make one (ok, >1) of these beauties. Thanks for posting 🙂

  2. Wow. Looks tremendous. I’ve wanted to try Argentine pizza for a while. Nice, OP.

  3. Wow I have never seen this before, looks incredible!!

Also do you have a recipe for the homemade cashew cheese? I have tried to make cheese before with varying results.

  4. That looks delicious and potentially like something I could eat on this crappy TMJ soft diet.

Thank you for the explanation of what this is. Saved me the search. It looks scrumptious.
