I have a no-fail recipe for salmon fillets in the oven:
Preheat oven to 410°F
Recommended seasoning is a generous pinch of salt, a splash of olive oil, couple squirts of lemon juice, top liberally with chopped garlic and capers. Rub it in well by hand.
Let rest a bit on top of parchment paper/baking paper in a baking sheet or a casserole dish
Cook in oven uncovered at 410° for 8 mins
Then turn on Hi broil and leave it in for another 2 minutes.
Turns out flakey, perfect, smelling like beautiful garlic and capers.
Add pepper or zatar after if you would like, although I feel it’s usually unnecessary.
Baked 400f for 10-12 depending on thickness and level of doneness. Baking sheet is fine. Easy and simple. Keep at it! Finding easy recipes you like will help loads

Nice job! My wife and I love to marinate our salmon filets in soy sauce, miso paste, and Dijon mustard. Let it sit for an hour or so then air fry without patting dry. Its a great flavor profile for salmon
I’m a big fan of doing this dish where it’s miso glazed with nice sear and still rare inside.

Grill it if you have a grill and hit it with some bbq sauce at the end. Use the oven broiler if you don’t have a grill, just make sure to keep an eye on it.

Man all these recipes in the comments makes me feel bad about mine lol. I just get a bunch of large portions from Costco, season them and after a day in the fridge I freeze them. Still frozen I throw one in the air fryer skin side up for 40 minutes at 350 and it comes out still juicy and flakey.

If it’s a sort of translucent pink, but main part still falling apart, you can remove it from the heat and it will continue cooking for a while.
That leaves it very tender.

Nice! I’m trying to do the same. Try Teriyaki salmon, it’s my favorite. Use the bachan bottle

How did you cook it?
Look delicious!
Maybe try pairing it with some vegetables?
