The eternal dilemma of pad kee mao vs pad see ew. I always go with both, but let’s be honest times are tough financially so I guess it comes down to if you want spice or sweet. I’ve doctor’d up a few pad see ew in my day with plenty of sambal additions, but it’s honestly an odd thai dish that is not improved by the addition of garlicy spice, enjoy the sweetness, keep it as the recipe intends or the nice old thai grandpa says it should taste in my case.
