I got rid of several previous versions and have an Amazon Basics one with actually physical buttons. I got tired of the non-button buttons not working right.

I don’t know if you’re able to, but there’s a Taylor Waterproof digital scale at Costco for $17.99. It’s pretty large too so you could use it for larger containers.

I got the cheapest one from Walmart about a year ago and use it multiple times a day almost daily

I prefer physical buttons because the digital buttons can be accidentally tapped

  5. I recently got a new food scale and I got an OXO that the screen/button area pulls out so if you put a plate or something larger you are able to just pull out the screen and still see the weight! It’s been so nice for me I highly recommend it. [https://a.co/d/08OtIVlC](https://a.co/d/08OtIVlC)

Less expensive ones work just as well! I prefer a scale that’s raised. The flat ones are difficult to use with a large plate on it. The one I use isn’t in stock on Amazon but including the link so you can get an idea of what it looks like.

  7. I would get a rechargeable one versus one that uses batteries. Cost doesn’t matter, functionality does. Make sure you can weigh in the units of measure you want and it can handle a lot of weight.

I’ll add I also got the Amazon basics one about a year ago and has worked perfectly fine, I use it daily.

I bought mine at Walmart 8 years ago for like $8 and I’ve only changed the batteries like three times 😂
