I saw this on TT and tried it today. Very easy. Here’s the recipe:

1 can beans (she used a tub of hummus)

2-4 T bouillon

1 c vital wheat gluten

1/4 c soy milk – just enough to make a sticky dough

Mash the beans if using beans

Mix 2 T of the bouillon with all other ingredients by hand and knead. This took me five minutes by hand. If you have a stand mixer that would work too.

Roll and stretch into long rope and tie into knots.

Brown all sides in a pan.

Simmer (almost no boiling) in covered water with the remaining 2 T bouillon for 45 minutes.

This has about 100g protein maybe a bit more, and would make four meals for me but easily two for a big eater.
