
Recipe uses one large head of cauliflower.
Preheat oven to 450 F.
Breading:
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup light beer (or water)
Sauce:
1/3 cup vegan butter
1/3 cup Frankās Red Hot
If you want to make it a little easier, which I often do, you can use 1 1/2 tbsp of Tonyās seasoning mix and 1/2 tsp of baking powder in place of all the spices.
Mix dry ingredients, then add beer (or water if you donāt have beer). Then dump breading mix over cauliflower in a big bowl and coat evenly.
Bake for 10 min, flip each piece individually, bake for another 10 min.
Pull out of the oven and coat in half/ half mix of melted vegan butter and franks red hot sauce. Put back in the oven for another 15 min, flipping halfway through again.
