
This is one of my favourite ways to make tofu.
I score the tofu with the diamond pattern about halfway through, then add it to a pan with butter, garlic, and thyme. I fry it on a medium heat for a while until browned.
Once browned, I add some soya cooking cream, english mustard powder, wholegrain dijon mustard, and white wine. (I eyeball everything….)
Than just let it cook on medium low for 30 mins.
I often add it alongside Gratin Dauphinois, and Green Beans.
