I’ve tried putting other people onto counting calories but it’s so hard to for people to understand until they actually start it themselves. It honestly feels like a cheat code lol

I didn’t count calories for a full month of losing weight, I was successful but I avoided a lot of “unhealthy” foods (like bread). I’m so much happier eating whatever I want, in smaller portions, and just trusting the numbers.

Lol, IG showed me a reel yesterday that was a woman saying she was going to do 1200 calories for the first time. She put her cup of coffee on a scale, poured in some creamer, realized it was like 300 calories. Went to make a pb&j, realized she had like 300 cals worth of peanut butter. Went to make a salad, realized her dressing alone was 200 calories.
