I've been to the Louvre, and El Prado, and the Uffizi. I've seen Leonardo's paintings at the Medici palaces. Nevertheless I ask you, is there any sight more pleasing to the human heart, eye, and palate than a fillet of perfectly smoked salmon, lovingly tended for hours over smoldering hickory, brushed with maple syrup from one's own yard?
