Had leftover mash and roasted broccoli from a previous dinner. Browned off the beef, added in mirepoix (no celery), added in the leftover broccoli and garlic after. Seasoned in layers. Legit microwaved the mash potatoes with some butter and milk then slowly stirred in 2 egg yolks. After the meat mixture was cooked, placed all the mash on top and cooked at around 450F, for a while, checking and spinning every 10-15min till it looked good.

    I’ve never had something like this homemade or in a restaurant, looks so great! This is a traditionally English meal I think, right? I could be totally clueless on that though.
