This spot is mostly casual, but they have a tasting menu! I found it to be very enjoyable, so I thought I'd make sure it gets represented in this sub.
- Chips, salsa, guacamole, tortillas, margarita
- Salad, ceviche, Spanish white
- Chicken taco, tuna taco with apple salsa, gin and tonic
- Octopus with sweet potato puree, roasted cauliflower, 123 Tequila
- Flank steak with mole, rice, Mexican tempranillo
- Cake with vanilla ice cream and pineapple, mezcal espresso martini
As of February 2026, the Chef's Tasting Menu was $80, with a $45 drink pairing, and I found that to be a fantastic deal.
The highlight was the cauliflower dish, perfectly roasted, delicious sauce, lovely garnishes that added heat as well as a great depth of flavor. It was the best cauliflower dish I've had.
I did find the steak to be disappointing, bland in comparison to the rest of the meal with a mole sauce that was too thin and flat. The cabbage salad was also a miss for me, however I am generally not a fan of grapefruit's bitterness so that may be unfairly coloring my opinion.
I found all the drinks to be delicious, with the Mexican Gin and Tonic and the Mexican Tempranillo being particularly exceptional.

Nice- did you have any other favourites in D.C.?
I had a weird experience there. We were seated at the bar and the bartender accidentally dropped a tin onto the drink my fiancé was enjoying, broke the glass and spilled it. Not a big deal, accidents happen, I don’t care just make it right and replace the drink. The guy made him A HALF COCKTAIL to replace it! Like wtf?
