    Recipe:

    Steak:
    – I had a sirloin to use, but you could use flank, etc. I marinated my steak for 90 minutes in fish sauce, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Seared for two minutes on both sides. I probably should have gone a minute longer but I already pulled it off and committed.

    Jeow Som:
    – I didn’t really follow a recipe, but the one [here](https://www.saengskitchen.com/laorecipes/jeowsom) closely matches what I used, except I also mashed shallot into mine. I didnt have Thai or bird eye peppers on hand so I used jalapeños instead, but would definitely recommend Thai chilis if you can

    Other stuff:
    – Cucumber
    – Jalapeños
    – Cilantro
    – Shallots that I tossed in lime and Thai chili flakes
    – Sticky rice: I had a microwaveable sticky rice on hand so that’s why I used, but you do you!
