What depends on what you have access to, but you started it’s fine but it’s a bit limited in terms of what you’re consuming…..

  2. I never counted calories and still lost over 70 pounds and have maintained the loss. I do love to read nutritional labels but I just focused on eating less, eating better and working out (cardio and strength training).

Not a nutritionist so I can’t answer your question but I did want to throw it out there that you can definitely lose weight without counting calories. Good luck!

  3. Is this all you’re going to eat? Do you think this will get boring? What happens if youve eaten all this and you’re hungry, or if you’re craving something that isn’t on this list, or you go eat out with family or friends? For long term success I am not a fan of “eat only these” because you aren’t learning how to eat or how to compose a meal from scratch, and once you don’t have access to your list of foods, chances are you’ll overeat out of either confusion or just giving up. I’m not a fan of calorie counting either, too much for me, but I generally know how many calories are in things to be able to have a general idea of whats in things and how much I’m eating in a day to have a varied diet.

  4. I see it like my money. If I don’t count my money I never really know how much I have and how much I’ve spent.

  5. This is just a list of ingredients, not really a meal plan, what are you going to make with these?

  6. I think it looks pretty good! Maybe you could just calculate the calories for each of these ingredients just once, and see if adding everything up on average would get you to your caloric goal.

I’m confused by this. It’s not a meal plan, it’s just a list of food. Like what does 4 slices of cheese and 2 tbsp of peanut butter mean? Like are you just eating random foods? Is this your daily food intake? I wish I had advice but I’m confused as to what’s even happening

My suggestion is just to count the calories for a bunch of meals you like and then have that on repeat. So you know what’s in it and can eventually just eyeball portions etc.

I would suggest weighing your food because measuring cups are not nearly as close to accurate as the scale, but start where you can.

Counting is exhausting but if you have a goal and you want to meet it, it could be worth the mental energy to reach your goal.

A reasonable daily food intake for weight loss or maintenance? No, unfortunately not, if you are aiming for 1200 calories/day, as one would assume given the sub you posted in.
