For anyone Wandering Leberkäse is basically a Big baked sausage loaf, usually pork but veal and Turkey (dont) are available.
Despite being named Leberkäse it will usually contain neither liver nor cheese. Leberkäse containing cheese is however a common sight in Bavaria (Kasleberkas eg., variants Like Pizzaleberkas also exist).
Outside of Bavaria (in Germany) it will be referred to as “bayrischer Leberkäse” or Fleischkäse BC of consumer protection laws.

My wife and I really enjoyed all the meat loaf style things we tried in Germany. One of the best things we had was Head Cheese in Riesling Aspic in Koblenz by the river. It was a brave first for us, but we were both glad to try!
My wife typically does not care for things such as bologna, pate, etc.
