As required by tradition and law in the Midwest during severe snow storms.
2 eggs
1/2 c heavy cream
1 T bourbon
1-2tsp orange marmalade
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of kosher salt
8 slices French bread
Butter
Syrup
Whisk all ingredients except bread in a shallow dish. Melt 1 T butter in skillet over medium heat, dip bread into the batter and cook until lightly toasted. Serve with butter and syrup.
