So I struggle with waves of intense craving/bingeing episodes that I find hard to manage, and it’s something I’m working on. But tonight, I saved myself from what could have been a 500-calorie binge and swapped to some pickles, tomatoes, and ham instead. This will both satisfy my cravings and make me full for only 156 calories, compared to 500.
For anyone like me who has the same struggles when it comes to food addiction, and goes through setbacks — always remember to focus on small wins, and give yourself grace for being imperfect. We’re all here to better ourselves, which takes hard work and determination. You got this!! 🙂 💗

Congratulations! Keep it up! 🤝
I do this too!! Just with smoked turkey deli meat instead of ham. SUCH a good trick for dealing with those bingey feelings!
That looks delicious, i love those sort of foods.
What if you crave crunchy carbs like chips and crackers?
Remember, every victory you accomplish is a step in the right direction to becoming a better you. And every mistake is simply an event. And the event ends after you make the mistake. You can continue with your day in a positive manner and still have victories. Never get yourself down because of mistakes that you make, you’re only human and the future is blank and you can paint it as you wish.
Great work.
As a doctor, I tell patients that “surfing the urge” (waiting 20 mins for the craving to pass) is the single most effective skill for weight loss.
You just rewired your brain a little bit today. Every time you say no to a binge, the neural pathway for that habit gets weaker.
Keep stacking these wins! 👏
