looks tasty – I’ll overlook the saturated fat! The lemon almost makes it look healthy with all that mechanically reclaimed meat.😂😝😘

I love this. It’s just a pile of sauerkraut with a bunch of different pieces of meat on it. It’s perfect.
EDIT: And the potato! Can’t forget the potato!

You can see how the food culture of that town is still heavily influenced by its German past.

Actually one of my favorite foods that I first had when visiting Belgium for the first time. Made a point to find it in Germany the next time we went to Europe. Nowhere near me serves it and I haven’t tried making it 🙁

Looks delicious! France has the best winter dishes ever.
I was just there and ate lots of raclette, choucroute, foie gras, oysters

The Quebec episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown is what introduced me to this dish, and I have been craving it ever since

If you don’t have pork and sauerkraut you’ll have bad luck the next year!

The Alsace region has been my favorite part of France so far. Tarte flambé, amazing wines, friendly people!

They sell kits to make this at home here (western Europe) so we had it for Christmas Eve. So satisfying
