Did a simple marinade of sake, mirin, white miso sugar and msg in a vac sealed bag for three days in the fridge, flipping every day. Did a "broil" in my air fryer and served with white rice and a lightly seasoned cabbage salad. Reduced the marinade in a pot and used as a sauce for the final dish. It was really good, think I over cooked the fish a wee bit but still excellent overall.

The side of cabbage could be replaced with something more appetizing for sure, and I hate white rice bc of its glycemic index, but I love the look of the dish
Nobu’s miso black cod is some pretty effing amazing food. Yours looks great too!
There is a face in the sear.
Oh, sablefish! One of my favorite fish!
